Breann Smith

Instructor: Lone Tree

My name is Breann Smith I joined Stroller Strides in June of 2012 and haven't looked back! Thanks to FIT4MOM, I was able to lose all of my baby weight and meet some of my closest friends. I have two boys Kyson (5/2/12) and McKaden (4/29/14). My husband, Josh, is an engineer for Denver Water and in the Air Force reserves.

I am a former 5th grade teacher in Douglas County, so FIT4MOM is the perfect blend for me combining my two loves, fitness and teaching! While pursing my teaching degree, I coached High School fast pitch Softball at Douglas County High School-my alma mater. I also coached a couple of competitive teams over the summer. When I was younger, I played softball year round, I got several offers to play in college, but by that time, I was burnt out and needed a break. While softball was my first love, I also played High School basketball. Sports and fitness have always been a part of my life, while I love to play sports-I hate running (I'm working on trying to enjoy it more), but my belief is that fitness should be challenging yet fun. I am very competitive and love incorporating games and personal challenges into my workouts! The two best compliments I can receive are #1-That was fun! and #2- I am sore!

When I'm not teaching FIT4MOM classes, I am teaching online graduate classes at Regis. I also love spending time outdoors camping, boating, hiking, and playing slow pitch (we are always in need of girls!!!) I also recently learned to sew-so I love when my friends get pregnant so I can sew them baby things!
