Kassidy Draper

Instructor: the Highlands/Denver
So, I come from a family of 6; 3 sisters, I'm the oldest. My parents couldn't afford to put any of us in sports so I didn't grow up as an athlete. I found my passion for fitness right around my senior year in high school (2002). I found myself topping the scales at 172. I was uncomfortable in my own skin. I joined the gym nearest to me, hired a trainer, cleaned up my diet, and lost 35 pounds! After that, I was hooked. Exercise makes me a better person, it's really as simple as that. I love the rush I get after a great workout and I love seeing my body change. It's so empowering!

I graduated from Metro in the spring of 2014 with my Bachelors degree in English Literature and a minor in Nutrition. My plan was to teach High School English; a month after I graduated I was pregnant with Nova :-) She was planned, just a little quicker than we'd anticipated. So, my plans changed. And only for the better.

I don't have a background in teaching fitness classes but I've attended EVERYTHING -- Pilates, Yoga, Hot Yoga, Bootcamps, Cross Fit, TRX, even a Pole Dancing class! I haven't tried any of the aerial classes yet but plan to very soon.

In my free time you'll find me chauffeuring kids to and from school, working part time as a Real Estate broker, grocery shopping (sad as it is, I spend an absurd amount of time at the grocery store!), snowboarding, cooking, and working out! I love the opportunity I have to stay at home with my kids and I love the opportunity to work with other moms! I am truly blessed.
