I found Stroller Strides when my oldest son, Dominick, was about 7 months and it took me a good month to get up the courage to go to my first class. From that day on it opened a huge support system of fellow moms and reignited my passion for fitness. Before I became a Mom I was a TV news anchor/ reporter. We were living in Spokane, Washington when I got pregnant and I always dreamed of moving back home and raising my kiddos around my family. So when I was about 4 months pregnant I quit my dream career and moved home to start my other dream of being a stay at home mom. Time flies when your having fun! Now I have two kids and one on the way and that first Stroller Strides class seems like a lifetime ago. I love instructing because I feel fortunate to be the person moms come to for a workout. When I look at the women in my class I am amazed by each and everyone of them. The fact we manage to get ourselves dressed, our kiddos dressed, our car loaded with snacks and toys and diapers and whatever else we might need that day and make time to exercise is a victory. I try to give a great workout tailored to every fitness level because I know how difficult it can be to get in the door so when class is over I want everyone to feel like it was worth it.
